Era of Tokyo Boeki Mechatronics System Division

  • 1960
    Started sales of layout machine as an agency of Portage-Double Quick Inc. (USA)
  • 1969
    Atsugi factory (main building of technology) completed
  • 1972
    Signed contract related to manufacturing of layout machine with Portage
  • 1974
    Developed the torque management type electric nut runner first in Japan
  • 1979
    Co-developed the multi-joint 3D measuring machine “Vectoron” with Kosaka Laboratory Ltd.
  • 1983
    Developed the layout machine type full-fledged model processing machine first in the world
  • 1985
    Developed the layout machine with non-contact probe
  • 1987
    Developed the 7-axis control measurement robot “MR-1” with cutting-edge technology
  • 1988
    Opened the US representative office in Detroit (USA)
  • 1992
    With contract renewal of layout machine with Giddings & Lewis, Sales in US and European markets started.

1994-2006

Launch of Tokyo Boeki Techno-System

  • 1994
    Signed exclusive contract for point-processing software with Imageware (currently, Siemens PLM Software) in US
  • 1995
    Developed the high-accuracy layout machine “Laymatic-J series” supporting JIS
  • 1998
    Signed exclusive contract for non-contact camera type 3D measuring system “COMET,” etc. with Steinbichler (currently, Carl Zeiss) in Germany
  • 2000
    Obtained ISO 9001 certificate
  • 2001
    Developed the cray model pointing system “ClayPointer”
  • 2002
    Signed exclusive contract for point-processing / inspection software “spGauge” with Armonicos Co., Ltd. in Japan
  • Developed the portable cray model processing machine “Portable-MILL”
  • 2003
    Signed contract for “laser tracker system” with Leica Geosystems in Switzerland
  • Signed contract for virtual reality system with EON Reality in US
  • 2005
    Established the local corporation TBTS (Thailand) Co., Ltd. in Bangkok, Thailand
  • 2006
    Established the local corporation TTS (GUANGZHOU) CO., LTD. in Guangzhou, China
  • 2008
    Atsugi Technical Center completed
  • 2009
    Toyota office transferred to new company premises
  • 2013
    Established the local corporation Tokyo Boeki Techno-System de Mexico S.A.de C.V. in Aguascalientes, Mexico
